james116
My DT50 mx is revving high when I start it. I think it could be do to carb needle as when I adjust the tick over its right out. Do i lower or higher the clip on the needle? Thanks James
wild foamy
if its just when you start it i would put it down to an air leak, check the seals in and behind your carb
webi
before you start looking for air leaks it could be the slide in the carb stuck if it has a slide i dont know anything about dts you could also try wiggling the throttle cable where it goes into the carb as my yb100 had this problem and it was the throttle cable getting stuck and leaving the slide fully open. blackhat250
As Webi says " its bound to be cable related 2 if carb hasn"t been tampered with, diconect it if not shure, if prob persists" then look for air leak [ rubber inlet] And " don"t just ask a question and piss off , LET US KNOW THE RESULTS "
