Greetings Everyone!

I'm a new member and just inherited my first bike, my father's 73 Yamaha CT3 175 Enduro.

I was hoping for two things:

1. If I could be PM'd a service manual for the bike, I would be very appreciative.

2. Advice would be helpful

The motorcycle runs great except for one issue: it cannot hold idle without stalling. The bike runs fine and operates great above 2500rpms. As soon as I let the throttle go, the engine dies. Whether I'm in neutral, 1st, 2nd, etc..

I believe it has to do with the carburetor but don't have a lot of experience with this type of work. Any input/suggestions would be deeply appreciative.

Thanks everyone!

PS, The bike has only been started up and Rev'd 1x since the stalling issue has occurred. I'm not taking it out and risking damaging the bike, in case some of you were worried.

Greetings Cbodybagger, you should buy a manual, either a new one

or watch ebay for a used one.

As for the stalling i'm with Cynic and his theory of a blocked pilot jet in the carb.
