can any one please have a look at there carb and tell me what if anything is screwed into the right side of the carb on theopposite side of the tickover screw ,mine has a threaded hole, the bike is a 1989/1990 with a flat side carb [-o<

I'm sure you've already sussed it solorider, but there's nothing screwed in to this threaded hole. I reckon Yamaha just put it there for a joke.

i had another look and pics on the net,the hole which is threaded i have found out is for a tickover screw if the carb was a right hand carb on a twin,saves costs on making handed carbs
