Posted October 24, 201014 yr Just a question to those in the know,I've asked a guy to make me a rear fender .he's asking for a pattern or tire ? Any ideas what he's on about ?
October 25, 201014 yr might be he wants something to mold it off to make sure it fits like either the pattern fender, or the rear tier or he could be on about the stile? similar to the original or close to the tier either way give him a ring to sort it out.
October 25, 201014 yr Moderator are we talking tyres here, or tiers you need to tell him if your going rigid or staying with the shocks! that's for the gap/mounting required. you do know you can buy off the shelf mudguards and cut them to fit yourself? ( I figure that is what he'll do anyways) the tyre is for getting the radial gap right as there are different size wheels!! @paulwhite, whats a stile? (apart from a device for getting a person through a field boundary)
