Yamaha YBR 125 runs better on reserve tank?

Featured Replies

Hi. I have noticed a few engine niggles on my YBR - a slight loss of power and some strange engine noises. However, the other day, I ran out of fuel and so switched to the reserve tank, and the machine ran beautifully! Does anyone know if this indicates a particular problem with normal riding?

Thanks,

Phil

Hi Phil. This would in my mind would be an example of a fuel flow problem

Not having a clue about YBRs all i can say is if on my bike this happend i would remove the pipe after the tap and check the flow with a glass jar in normal and res and blow the pipes back into the tank if and try again adding a inline filter before i put it back together
