LewLar Posted October 8, 2010 Share Posted October 8, 2010 Morning all, I've been trying to remove the engine from my DT for about two weeks now. All that's holding the sucker together is the bolt that goes between the frame, engine and swing arm. I've literally smacked the shit out of with a 4lb lump hammer and it just aint moving. At all. Is it worth taking it to an engineers or a garage to get it out on a hydraulic press or similar?? Lewis Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If a bolt like this wont budge try placing a tube against a solid wall or somethhing, then hit the bolt into the tube. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
