magyar Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 hey im new here, just have a question. My friend is selling me his fzr250 1990 model 1998 import to australia for $3000, it has a new engine with 20k on it that cost $1500. My question is are there any main problems with the fzr i should look out for, also is it possible to do an underseat exhaust conversion. I have not seen ONE 250 that has an underseat exhaust, why is this? thanx for ur help

250SCREAMER Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 hi mate i also own an fzr250r exup im thinking ov fiting a 400rr engine . im not sure if you had any luck geting your under seat exaust fited if you did please let me know how easy it was
250SCREAMER Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 iv been told that keeping a reguler change ov oil in the 250 looks after the engine ( every 6 months depebding on how much you use it ) due to being a 1800rpm red line oil degrades fairly quickly the oly major problem im finding with owning a fzr250 if parts ar ar rear as rocking horse poo and when you do find them they cost an arm an a leg
