My friend is selling me his fzr250 1990 model 1998 import to australia for $3000, it has a new engine with 20k on it that cost $1500. My question is are there any main problems with the fzr i should look out for, also is it possible to do an underseat exhaust conversion. 250SCREAMER Posted May 15, 2006 Share Posted May 15, 2006 iv been told that keeping a reguler change ov oil in the 250 looks after the engine ( every 6 months depebding on how much you use it ) due to being a 1800rpm red line oil degrades fairly quickly the oly major problem im finding with owning a fzr250 if parts ar ar rear as rocking horse poo and when you do find them they cost an arm an a leg Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
