i bought this yamaha yd 250 cc 4 stroke bike.but previous owner changed its cdi unit.bike is very similar to sr 250 bike.now engine overheat and allways back fires, and engine not going fast.pls if u can tell what is the correct cdi unit now it has yamaha mate 50 cdi unit. .thanks for u

thanks for u r reply.i think year model is 1986.this model is yd 250.4 stroke ,2 valves ,2 exhaust pipes.

engine is very similar to sr 250,(looks like honda 185.honda road master).this model hasn,t more details,

if u can check this on you tube it has only one video .engine number and parts have

31G number.
