Hey everyone, this is my first post and I'm hoping someone here can help. I blew the ignition fuse on the motorway then replaced it but ever since my tach has been jumping to 8K then to 0 then back to normal RPM. I know this code states it's a problem with the fuel sensor however the fuel sensor is fine. I have a feeling whatever cause the fuse to blow is also causing the tach code. I have the service manual which had aided me in testing a lot of items but I'm getting stumped. I haven't tested the connectors while they are plugged in but it would seem strange if that was the problem. I'm thinking there's a short, a loose grounding wire or ???. I haven't ridden the bike since the day the fuse blew as I don't want to be stuck on the road. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

John

Carry out a thorough visual inspection of the wiring
