Posted September 9, 201014 yr Hi all. I'm new to this site and currently own a T-reg XJR1300 (see gallery) but am thinking of getting an FZR1000 EXUP RU, the one with the USD forks. I have an idea for a project but need to know if these are good bikes or not and can you get away without using the EXUP valve. Any thoughts.
September 10, 201014 yr hi my brothers got one and its a great bike 145 hp very fast. not sure i would remove the exup thats what gives it its amazing torque. chris

September 10, 201014 yr my brothers has been street fighter-ed the only thing that he kept original was the exhaust up to can, to keep the exup. but if your willing to lose a little bottom and midrange then you could, after all its got so much to start with .

I fancy the streetfighter route which is why I was asking. They can make a decent looking streetfighter.
