Posted September 8, 201014 yr My XV110 has no oil pump chain tensioner and the chain seems quite slack. Haynes Manual says there is a tensionsioner which is part the chain cover but I've heard elsewhere the later models (mine is 1986) do not have a tensioner. Shall be grateful if anyone can say for sure whether my engine should have a chain tensioner or not.
