root Posted August 18, 2010 Share Posted August 18, 2010 Hi.... you realy do need a manual skik You will have to lower the forks while on the frame to undo the threaded plugs at the top of the stansions,if your model has them ( some dont ) undo the top bolts & loosen yolk pinch bolts lower the legs a few inches , one at a time ,then retighten the lower pinch bolt to use as a vice while you just loosen the oil plug , remove the leg undo the plug empty the oil , the spring etc will also come out so remember exactly , how they are to go back then find out how much 10w fork oil you need ( manual . )clean out , examine the springs check lengh manual! .Some models just have a O ring at the top of stansion & these I think have to be completly dismantled to examine the springs but can be emptied & topped up ,also there are posts on here for doing these forks if you look .ok Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
