M2themillsey
I have derestricted and fitted a DEP backbox to my DT125r and it seems to have made no real difference to the performance because it seems to lose power at 7k rpm. Has anyone had this problem or know anything I can do to sort it. Cheers, Millsey
skyline
on a 2 stroke cans dont make the diffrence, its the down pipe that makes all the diffrence so try and get yourself a dep downpipe to go with the backbox
Eric
I have derestricted and fitted a DEP backbox to my DT125r and it seems to have made no real difference to the performance because it seems to lose power at 7k rpm. Has anyone had this problem or know anything I can do to sort it. Cheers, Millsey Have you a fix yet? If not what year is your bike? If it a 2004 re there is a wire fix for the YPVS If before 2004 a switch in the speedo. However it the YPVS not the pipe that will make the diff, you lose engine speed at between 7 to 8k because the powervalue closes down to stop some of the exhaust gas getting out!
