Posted August 8, 201014 yr hi everyone im new here.i just bought a 1992 yamaha sr125 to restore its a bit rough so will take alot of work to get it back to the way it was 18 years ago.just by looking at it i know it needs a carb an exhaust and the ignition switch but there must be so sort of cover for the switch as there is a gap from the clock and handle bar.[i tried to post pics but dont know how].i want to get it going before i strip it so if anyone has or knows where i can get parts [cheap as i dont have much] and a manual please let me know heres pic http://www.motorcyclenews.com/ImgGalleryTn/17/477517/124509_412746.jpg
August 8, 201014 yr Author Hi, plenty of parts on ebay ,Its just a plastic cover that just clips on . where do i screw the switch to http://www.motorcyclenews.com/ImgGalleryTn/17/477517/124509_412746.jpg and ive looked on ebay but dont know what to call it
August 8, 201014 yr Just bypass the ignition to get it running before laying out for new parts , it looks like either the bracket has been ripped out with ignition or there may be one on an original replacement when you get one ? I can't remember try breakers , plety of SRs about , The plastic cover has nothing to do with it just to get at the top fork bolts & bar bolts just fits loose.
