Posted July 24, 201014 yr Hi Well here is my dilema and i will try to keep it as short as possible. I bought a 58 plate, third owner, 3200miles from a well known large dealer who i have had dealings with before and always found them very good. I noticed a week or so ago that the main headlight is off to the left and not facing dead centre. The crome headlight holders are not adjustable in any way which shows that the left bracket is about 5mm further back than the right. I know it doesnt sound alot but it looks worse. As the bracket is connected to the fork assembly then woudnt the left fork and stantion also be out of line???? I have no way of checking this and suspect it has had a front left bump of some sort Should i look into this further or ignore it as trivial???? I have been thinking of booking it in to my local garage for a check over a second opinion but could do without the cost, the bike is still within the 2 year warranty with the dealership. I am new to biking so any advice would be most welcome. MTIA Andy
July 24, 201014 yr You defiantly need to return it to the shop from where you got it. if the light bracket is not twisted it could be an indication that ether the top or bottom yoke is cracked or distorted as result of an accident in it's history which is highly dangers get it checked fast! ps as your new to biking the yoke's if you don't know are the piece's which hold the top of the fork legs, handle bars and the pivot pin which connects the front unit to the frame.

Usually this is adjusted by moving the light itself. However, this does sound a little unusual. Probably best to do as already advised and take it back to the dealers
