Please can someone help.I've got issues with my one plug lead which is loose between the lead and the cap so I am therefore losing a lot of power. What I want to know is, is the lead and the coil one complete unit i.e. can you remove the lead from the coil and just replace the lead or is it a sealed unit ? The dealers want to sell me the complete coil and lead which makes no sense to me as the coil is fine, it is just the lead and cap section which is faulty. Thanks !

Andre, cant you unscrew the cap...cut off 20mm (3/4") of the lead and screw the cap back on?

I'm not sure. I'm going to take the fairings etc off this weekend and check but from the little gap between fairing and plug lead it looks like the lead is already at it's limit to the plug so I don't think cutting it will work, I will have to get another one but I just can't see whether the other end in the coil is just plugged in or actually connected inside the coil. :(
