I need help. My 1983 Maxim 400, start up nice. But when I give her the gas I loss spark on righr side.Changed coils. Changed pick up coils. Still the same. Loss of spark on right side plug, when I try to increse RPM. Spark comes back when let off the gas, and rpm's drop to idle.

Well i think you need to go to a good mechanic.He'll be able to take care of the problem.i hope your problem gets solved soon.

erm,have you changed the plugs,sometimes its the simple things .

what about plug gap and re-making the connection of the HT lead to the plug cap, cut 3/4" (20mm) off it if you can and set the plug gap smaller
