Just got a 83 virago xv500 and it has no spark, the wires are hot all the time going to the coil..New plugs and everything else has juice....Any ideas??

Just got a 83 virago xv500 and it has no spark, the wires are hot all the time going to the coil..New plugs and everything else has juice....Any ideas??

I know this is a bit late but I just joined the forum this week. The T.C.I. modual some times goes bad but can be revived. Some wire on the circute board needs to be resoldered. On my 500 some one had already done it. There are people that can do it for you; just do a search on the internet.(Dr. Piston)link on his site.
