Hi you all, although pictures of my bike are shown in 'my trusty old steed' -topic, i figured i'll start a thread of my own because i didn't want to flood some other guy's thread with my blahblah.

After taking those pictures i've managed to make an undertray which still has no place for reg.plate or taillight but they're on their way. I've also purchased a fazer thou's fairing, it has no frames for the windscreen so i can use a lower one. Oh yeah, i forgot to add a list of modifications.

- Hebo Granada front 'fairing' (similar to Gas Gas enduro model ones)

- Ducati SS900 rear bodywork (race model)

- custom blinkers (front ones are from a GasGas Enduro)

- clear-lens LED taillight

- MX handlebar

- small mirrors

- Sigma bicycle speedo (original is not in use - maybe i'll use it if i'm going to fit in the fzs thou's fairing)

- Mivv end can, oval carbon

- 1 down front sprocket (i'm gonna fit in 14-50 vs the original 15-48 and use 520 chain instead of original 530, with tougher chain of course)

Modifications to become:

- FZS1000's fairing

- removal of pillon pegs

- head pipe polishing

- new footpegs and reversed gearbox

- Suzuki ???? front fender

- Respray

That sounds & looks like a pretty cool project you've got going there .....I too, am anxious to see the results :wink: 8)

My intentions are that it has to be ready on April 1st (can't ride it before because of weather- and by god i'm not gonna ruin the short season by building it instead of riding)

Well, not much work left but there's no rush. I'm gonna finish that undertray maybe today. Will see how it ends up, hope i'll remember to take my digicam with me.

Bought a 99-01(?) FZS600 fuel tank and front fender from some Suzuki, now i can respray the whole bike without having to worry about getting it to match perfectly the original color and i can spare the original parts if i ever sell that piece of shit.

I'm thinking flat Gun Black or flat Gun Gray, whatever the name is.

Maybe grey. Dark grey. Matte. Friend of mine has an airbrush so maybe we'll try something with that.

i reckon that colour will look ace! 8) dark matt gray looks so good on bikes

Now the fairing has found its place. Next thursday my season begins, and i had not time to finish the Ducati tail.
