Lets see, betcha i could do at least 5000 miles in a week, those bikes last what, 50,000 miles as rentals? i dunno... I delivered the XT yesterday to the dealer in Haverfordwest (90 miles away) so I'm now bikeless till 1st September. Anyway, ran into an old mate of mine there and he was telling me that he'd taken a new Triumph on a demo run. He got about 20 miles into the countryside (where mobiles don't work) and the bike broke down! So he had to leave it at the side of the road and hitchhike back to the dealers...took him most of the day to get back! He's decided to stick with his Transalp!
