Today I was outside giving my TZR a bit of love polishing her and I decided to start her and when I decided to warm her up as i havent started her for about 3/4 days so wanted to check the battery and such like and consequently every time I changed to gear one she cut out? Is there a reason for this I know the clutch is disengaging correctly what else could be causing this?

At a guess, EITHER your stand was down

OR you got water in the stand switch.
