hi im selling my 1999 sv650 and have been offered a swap with a 1999 r6 that is a catergory d back 1n 2007 its not got fsh and has only got 5 mots

the problem im having is that its got 48000 on clock is this a problem and if so has anyone got an r6 engine?

cant see it being a problem if its been well serviced mate :-/

Hi, to be honest I wouldn’t do it,it has been crashed, it has no service, and less then half of the MOTS, and it has high miles, too many un knows in my opinion, you’re getting your self in to a lot of trouble with it, I would stay away from it, but that’s just me.

Having looked very briefly on the prices, a well looked after 1999-2000 SV650 can go for around 2k, and mint R6 with low miles goes for about 2.5k, have a good long think about it.
