dtr 125 power valave,

i have just bought a yamaha 125 dtr off road,(year 1996 ) and the power valave has been tied open witha lace, .

what i want to know, will this cause any problems when riding it on the fields,

also how much would it cost to have it re-connected to the throttle, again,

any information would be very greatfull
