My other half went to Snetterton yesterday to help out some friends who where racing an R1. When I went to get my bike out I dicovered that all the important bits (you know the levers, rearsets etc) where missing.

I rang to complain( It would have been fine if they asked) as I wanted to go out. He says just take one of the gixers (your totally missing the point there mate) so I gave up and took his 600 (the 1000 is his race bike it only has a daytime mot for emergencies and it was a bit murky yesterday and I thought I may need lights).

Anyway I met my mate and of we went in search of a decent breakfast at our fav cafe.

Anyway on route through some twisties we come face to face with an audi overtaking! Our only option to avoiding disaster was to take to the very small grass verge ( luckily no kerb). Well never bikes took very well to this sudden mx situation and I managed to catch a fence with my mirror. Result one broken mirror and a cracked fairing.

So now I'm in trouble cos I broke HIS bike!!!

Actually the incident didn't faze us to much we just swore abit and carried on. But I really am miffed about him winging after all !. I could easily have been killed and 2. if he hadn't of used mine for spares I wouldn't have been on his in the first place.

And another thing isn't funny how when you do alot of miles you get immune to the stupid things people do. You don't think "Shit Iwas nearly dead" anymore you just think"wanker" and carry on!

Amazing how we develop a Thick Skin to all the bullshit that happens everyday  , in this thing we call.........Life

I think it has to do with Self-Preservation, more than anything else
