petereyno Posted May 4, 2010 Share Posted May 4, 2010 Hi guys, i have recently bought a yamaha xj600 diversion on a 92 plate it is a fantastic bike to ride but for some reason it is topping out at 70 mph it is very sluggish in 5th and 6th gear, i dont think its restricted has anyone got any ideas??? pete Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
CraigDayna Posted May 20, 2010 Share Posted May 20, 2010 Hi Pete, Could be fine rust from the tank that is slowing the fuel supply to the carbs at top end. I got a similar issue.
