Posted May 4, 201015 yr hi ,i have broken the lower engine mounting lug on my engine badly , all the oil came out , i have sourced another short engine with barrels and pistons , no ridges so i think it should be ok , my question is , what is easier to build up the replacement using my original engine parts or change the lower case over?

My guess, you have no idea what that other engine is/was like so i would replace the lower case !!!
