Posted May 3, 201014 yr hi guys and girls i managed to snap the key in the barrel of my yamaha ybr 125 and i changed the barrell for a new one i am now gettin no spark to the plug. there is power goinig to the coil but nothing after that and the engine management light is flashing. im scratching my head and have no idea what to do any suggestions i would be really greatful regards 8 ball
May 5, 201014 yr On a car you'd have to have the ignition key matched to the ecu by the dealer. Not sure if this is the same.

Not sure if this is the same. can you not put the old barrel back on, then using a screw driver turn the the ignition on , this would then take out this theory if you have a spark and everything is normal you would then have to get the key matched. you could try a locksmith to get the key out cheers Al
