I own a 1986 YX600 Radian. I've cleaned the carburetors and need to preset the pilot screw. I've checked the Clymer manual and also the official Yamaha Service Manual but cannot find what the adjustment is. In both books, I can only find the statement that it is preset at the factory and should not be adjusted. Need to get back on the road so if someone could respond quickly it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Mark

You didn't count the number of turns out before you removed it?

No, I didn't count the number of turns out. There was no adjustment to carb#1 - must have been clogged up. I assumed the other 3 carbs were the same. So it's hard to say if they were set properly anyway.
