April 22, 201014 yr check all the covers are securly screwed down and no lose bolts as that could be the rattling? and welcome to YOC
April 22, 201014 yr Sounds odd, them bikes shouldnt have any problems internally with mileage that low.

Welcome, take it back to the dealer, it's under warranty, so let them have a listen to it. Have you had the bike serviced when the owners manual advises you to and by a dealer, did you run the engine in the way Yamaha advises or did you do it your own way?
