Is it possible to add a rev counter and/or one of those LCD`s that tells you what gear your in to a DTr 50 SM ?

Sorry for all the probably stupid questions.... Im very new to bikes in a modding kind of way.... but loving it all the same

if the bike has electronic ignition, then yes you should be able to (some even run 'off' of the HT lead (via induction)). Wjhat you need be sure is that the product you are buying is suitable for single cylinder motorcycles and for use with 2 strokes. Most either take a signal from the wire connected to the rev counter or they connect to the ground of the coil and detect the ripple of the coil firing.
