pilninggas Posted April 14, 2010 Share Posted April 14, 2010 if the bike has electronic ignition, then yes you should be able to (some even run 'off' of the HT lead (via induction)). Wjhat you need be sure is that the product you are buying is suitable for single cylinder motorcycles and for use with 2 strokes. Most either take a signal from the wire connected to the rev counter or they connect to the ground of the coil and detect the ripple of the coil firing.
