Pete Posted August 11, 2004 Posted August 11, 2004 Yeah....can you imagine riding that Big IT490 around on the roads? 8) ........Give all the XT's a run for their money Not with knobblies and little drum brakes you won't! 8)
Moderator YamaHead Posted August 11, 2004 Author Moderator Posted August 11, 2004 Good Point there Pete  It's just not very often you see an IT set-up for the Street 8)
Pete Posted August 11, 2004 Posted August 11, 2004 The XT brakes are not exactly inspiring....but those little drums are bloody frightening!
XT Alan Posted August 11, 2004 Posted August 11, 2004 You know what to do YamaHead. Buy the trail bike, get a rich relative to ride it down Porlock Hill or such like, after checking their will or taking out insurance and let those drum brakes do the rest  Then you can get all the bikes your heart desires with the proceeds.
Moderator YamaHead Posted August 12, 2004 Author Moderator Posted August 12, 2004 That's a Helluvan Idea Alan! I'd just hate to see such a clean IT end up in the Scrap Heap :? I really fancy that Seca2....aka Divvy 600....It seems well looked after 8)
