well we know what that bloody salt does to our  bikes so does honda now  he he he

Honda Motor Co, Ltd, Japan has announced that some CBR600RR's will be recalled to rectify a fault that may occur under certain operating conditions. The fault relates to the end bearing on the Rear Brake Actuating Rod which, if it becomes contaminated by anti-freeze agents (salt), can corrode and seize in the rod, impeding its movement. If this should occur, and strong braking force is then applied, the actuating rod may break and cause loss of Rear Brake operation.
