Posted April 7, 201015 yr I have a 1992 xj600 which leaks oil through the main drive shaft seal, not a huge amount but enough for me to have to take the casing off once a week to clean up,I have read in the manual that the gear shaft seal can be changed from out side and was wondering if the drive shaft seal could be done the same way, or do you have to split the engine? Thanks for any advise. Huw.
