Whilst riding my 2002 r6 over the week end it suddenly started cutting out at a certain rev then would carry on until got to same point in the next gear.

Then whilst in neutral when ideling wouldnt sit at a constant idle the revs were jumping.

I think this may be an electrical fault as everything else seems fine and when i took the back of the bike off the alarm/immoberliser (have a meta 375t fitted) was making aloud clicking like it was shorting an it was causing something else to click.

Does anyone have any ideas or had the same problem?

yeah thats what im thinking is there a way to turn it off without taking it off though?
