Posted March 25, 201015 yr Hi just bought my first bike and I am having trouble getting the bike to run. It starts and goes for about 2 minutes then losses power then stops and wont start again, the plug seems to be getting flooded, I take the plug out and clean it and some times she starts and cuts out, and other times she wont start. Any ideas/suggestions?
March 25, 201015 yr Moderator Hi, are you familiar with the choke lever? Lift for on when engine is cold, then lower it off when engine running ok.
March 25, 201015 yr Author I use the choke to start and after warming up i turn it off, but she sometimes just stops at random and is flooded, then I cant get her started even after cleaning the plug, sometimes she starts but stops imedietly with like a pop/hiss kind of sound.
