Moderator Airhead Posted March 21, 2010 Moderator Share Posted March 21, 2010 Had a run out with Vez, went to watch some classic trials action near Todmorden Lancashire. Heres a few pics of the ironmongery, Seems a popular event as there were lots of competitors. http://www.redroseclassictrials.org.uk/index.html Look Foamy...a Jawa Some Heavy metal...a JAP and a BSA The JAP has to be the most interesting bike there IMO, a popular speedway bike in its day and I bet theres not many of them being Trialled http://www.500race.org/Marques/JAP.htm And a TRI - Greeves twin cylinder Just one of a few nice Tiger Cub's Nice to see these old bikes being used
Guest MaD.VeZ
Was a good event and a nice ride there too, thanks for the invite Learned alot about the older bikes, to use an old saying "they don't make em like they used too" is very fitting. Not a bit of plastic in sight, well except one Honda which seemed a little out of place. Its nice to see the bikes being used as designed and not sat in a garage. Good to see some of the older riders there too, making it look easy i might add. Vez.
