Hello I just picked up a 1981 xs400 for my wife. Kinda a project, putting the hard tail kit and all that good stuff on her. Well today when I took off the battery and the battery box I noticed the regulator wasent plugged up and there is no plug that matches it anywhere. The person or should I say kid I bought it from pretty much stripped all the wires except the bare to make it run. When I got it tail light and head light not hooked up and now I know why. Because if it is it wont be charged long. There is no fuse box or anything no blinkers,horn nothing. Is this something I can wire back in to get her to charge? Thanks.

yes wiring it in would be possible, sounds like the loom has been butchered tho, so a new one may be needed
