gsolindley
Hi guys i am new to this site i was wondering if anyone could possibly help me with my bike... I have a really old rx100 and it is having problems starting... it wont kick start and i have to role it down a hill to bump start it. when it eventually starts it sounds like the fuel/air mix is wrong so i took the faceplate off and have been trying to get the right position on the fuel/air screw and still no luck... does anyone on here have any other insite as to what is causing the bike to be like this?? any help would be greatly appreciated!! many thanks greg
Moderator Airhead Posted March 16, 2010 Moderator Share Posted March 16, 2010 Hi Greg, at a guess a blocked pilot jet in the carb, or a poor fuel supply due to dirty filter screens in the fuel tap. ...Paul
Moderator drewpy Posted March 16, 2010 Moderator Share Posted March 16, 2010 strip carb and clean and check ignition timing, new plug should cure it. put a fuel filter inline from the tank to the carb
