So I am looking for some rearsets with no luck and I am going to settle on some tarozzi rearsets. One problem though, does anyone know what is the difference between the yamaha xs and the xj? are they identical? the rearsets that I am looking for are labeled for 1980 xj400, while my bike is a 81 xs400.

    The XJ400 is a 4 cylinder sports tourer similar to the XJ550

    I would doubt that the XS 400 rear sets would fit straight on.
