73 Yam
Does any one know if the gas tanks are interchangeable on the 1972-73 DT 250 and the 1972-73 RT 360? I have a really nice '73 DT 250 (green), all orginal with a factory buddy seat. The only problem is the big knee print (about the size of a grapefruit) in the gas tank (right side). Bogus Otis
Does any one know if the gas tanks are interchangeable on the 1972-73 DT 250 and the 1972-73 RT 360? The tank is the same for the 73-74 250/360's. The 75-76 250/400 will also fit but have a locking screw on cap. Also the MX250,360,& 400 tanks fit but these have a vented plastic screw on cap and a different fuel tap with no reserve. ( both still available from Yamaha pretty cheap )
