February 9, 201015 yr No I haven't. It should top out around 92mph. Have you had it serviced recently?
February 9, 201015 yr Author No I haven't. It should top out around 92mph. Have you had it serviced recently? no i havn,t had it serviced, ive just bought it so i don,t know its history either..allthough the tax disc ran out a year ago...so maybe could be bad fuel sitting in the carb for a year...
February 10, 201015 yr Step 1: Get it fully serviced. Have your guys look over it completely, checking everything. Drain and replace all the fluids - Brake, fuel, oil sump, final drive etc. Replace filters and spark plugs, too. Check tuning, grease all the greasy bits - The whole sha-bang!! Once she's all checked out, then we start seeing if she has a real problem!!
February 10, 201015 yr Could be, but my XVS1300 has a 33bhp restriction on it (until May this year!) and it'll do 80mph with me + the missus on it so I imagine the 650 would get above 60mph (assuming it's done right). Even my XVS125 with its 13bhp gets up to 60mph. I guess if its getting a full service they could check out any restrictions while they're at it...
