I have a Yamaha Tmax XP500 scooter and wondered if anyone could suggest what could be causing it to misfire when moving off from cold. After about a couple of minutes once moving the bike runs fine, and picks up well. It wil happily go up to 80mph and cruise all day without any misfires. Once warm it will tick over fine, again with no misfire. I put new plugs and fuel filter on it when I bought it 12 months ago, and have cleaned the air filter. It is a 2001 carb model, so I'm wondering if it could be that it needs the carbs cleaning?. Cheers
