I just picked up a complete 1974 YZ 125, for $300, and it runs!

Its in Pretty Good Shape, most all parts useable.

Im having a hard time finding info on it, and parts.

I need a gasket kit, and so far only bike bandit sells gaskets, and their individual (around $5-$10 EACH) which will get expensive real quick.

I would like to find just pictures, so far ive only found a red/silver one, and mine is yellow.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I got some more info, turns out its a 1974 or 1975 MX 125 not yz, i got her started, blows some smoke though.

I need to replace the gear oil, does anyone know what to put in there?

My manual hasnt arrived yet.

Regular engine oil, some will say it needs to be specific motorcycle oil some will say cheap and cheerfull. I know what i use in my bikes but i'm not fanning the flames of that particular topic.

As far as it goes any std 10/40 engine oil will be fine.

Without wanting to confuse things further the MX's didnt start till 78, if you pop the first 4 or 5 characters of the chasis number up we can say for sure.
