Yet another question about my completely non-original '81 XS400

OK. I just received an airbox as I was planning to do away with the cone filters. Went to test fit the airbox and found that the rear brake reservoir is completely in the way. So, now I can assume the previous owner either welded that part on, or used a frame from another year. Did any other years have a rear disc brake, and if so, where is the reservoir located? Here's a pic:

I'm really starting to think it would've been easier to cafe out a stock bike, rather than continue with the previous owner's modification. :(

Nevermind, found my answer. Looks like I get to modify an airbox and filter!

yea, looks a different bracket and rear M/C, poss off an xs750!

the xs400 M/c have their brackets in a diferent position

Yep, it's funny. I'm not sure I should even be calling this bike an xs400 anymore. I'll have to think up a new name for it.
