Hi I will be looking to change the tyres on my TDM 850 for the new season (once weather finally improves).

The bike currently has Bridgestone Battlax BT45R tyes front and rear 110/80-18(front) and 150/70-17 on the rear these tyres are old and worn and brick hard to boot. I have also found the bike to be guilty of tram lining quite badly and wondered what my options would be should i go for a wider front to cure the tramlining and a softer compound for grip etc .

If anyone could reccomend a tyre size /type and manufacturer for this type of bike i would be very grateful.

Hi,

the "tramlining" will be caused by your worn tyres; change them but keep to the standard sizes; over-size tyres will create additional handling problems
