Posted January 15, 201015 yr Right guys im sure this is in the wrong place and im sorry cus im new to this i just need to know where i can get a racing CDI for my dt50r from and if anyone knows why all my electrics aint working and the speedo is flashing some thing that looks like rb i would be greatful for the help..
January 21, 201015 yr In my opinion, usually all the electrical equipments are connected to a fuse. If the fuse broken then the electrical won't turn on or maybe there is a cable which contact to the frame. Try to check the fuse first.. But I can't give you any solution for the flashing speedometer cos I don't know how your motorcycle alert if there is any failure
January 22, 201015 yr I'd guess the dt50 has a CDI magneto, which means its self powering and sepearte from the rest of the bike's electrics. I'm not sure if you'd get a 'racing' cdi box, there isn't much you can change unless unless there's some sort of rev limiter that resistricts the engine's performance.
