fitting a 2002 R6 undertray

Hi all

I've just bought and fitted both a 2002 battery tray and a 2002 undertray to my 2000 R6.

I've seen this done load of times, but the bottom of the undertray seems to be under tension and hangs about 10mm away from the pop-fastners wholes that it should marry up with. (http://p1.bikepics.com/pics/2009/11/25/bikepics-1838901-full.jpg)

I can't see that I've done anything wrong, but does anyone have any ideas why it seems to be dropping at the bottom for some reason?

Any ideas would be appreciated
