CT1 Posted December 22, 2009 Share Posted December 22, 2009 I am in the process of restoring a 1971 CT1. I am lubricating all the cables with a cable luber tool and fluid. The problem I am having is separating the connector (plastic cylinder) where the throttle cable goes in and it splits into 2 cables; 1 for the carburetor and the other for the oil injector pump. I cannot open the plastic cylinder to be able to lube the cables individually and I am afraid by forcing it I will break it. Any thoughts/help with this? Thank you.
