Posted December 22, 200915 yr I am in the process of restoring a 1971 CT1. I am lubricating all the cables with a cable luber tool and fluid. The problem I am having is separating the connector (plastic cylinder) where the throttle cable goes in and it splits into 2 cables; 1 for the carburetor and the other for the oil injector pump. I cannot open the plastic cylinder to be able to lube the cables individually and I am afraid by forcing it I will break it. Any thoughts/help with this? Thank you.
December 22, 200915 yr Moderator to the forum CT1 can you not leaver the spliter alone and just force fluid the other way into the box?
